penny wanted to use the video camera, so i told her she could make a movie of eli. the problem is, i don't actually trust her to get within swinging distance of the device, so her responsibility in "making" the movie was to prompt eli. i told her she could tell him to speak, sing, jump, play, etc. she directed him to "make a poem". quite surprisingly, eli gathered himself for a moment, stood up, and proceeded to recite this winter themed children's rhyme which none of us had ever heard, and which we can only assume was the subject of a recent school activity. what can i say? pen gets the best out of her actors.

Boy, your kids really know their Alfred, Lord Tennyson! I suppose T.S. Eliot did the accompanying hand movements. And congratulations to Pen on her directoral debut.
That is so cute! I love it at the end when he says "niddle niddle crunch". Mary has watched this one several times already, and loves it. How funny that he just came up with that on the spot. so cute.
I am assuming that Eli took some artistic liberties with the line "And what are you suppose?"
